You would have to think that Doncaster do indeed have a great chance. But on the flip side, the Conti Cup is now Liverpool's only hope of silverware this season and that might motivate them to dig a little deeper. Though having said that, it will still be a very tough ask for them to get out a group which contains Sunderland and City in their current form. I expect the bonus spot qualifier will again come from Group One.

Ah, but with 8 teams progressing there are actually 2 best-3rd-place spots.
