Both clubs announced the postponement in May. I don't recall ever seeing an explaination for it.

1-1 at half time between Sunderland and Liverpool. A Mead pen and 35 yard effort from Dowie. Sounds like an interesting match judging by the twitter updates. Would certainly be an interesting outcome for both ends of the table if it remains a draw.

Sunderland 2 - 2 Liverpool...88th minute goal by McDougall.

I actually find it quite tense, but good, following the football on twitter.

I'll have a Man City win, please. Purely for table entertainment value.

Davison has been sent off for Chelsea. Yellow for a foul, second yellow for a dive. Chelsea are already one up but it is only half time.

Flaherty has put them 2-0 up just before the break. Bigger cushion but not a safe one. Big 45 minutes coming up for both sides.

Birmingham City LFC ‏@BCLFC
Deserved lead for Chelsea but hosts could easily be down to 9. So-Yun appeared to slap Allen in the face moments before setting up 2nd goal

Nevermind. Chelsea pen, 3-0.

So Yun needs to get a retroactive three game ban for that, especially in light of what happened to City recently. There is absolutely no call for slapping a person on the pitch (even provoked) and shouldn't be tolerated. The referee has totally lost control of this game. Oatley is at the game and has been tweeting, I'm disappointed that she is silent on this issue.

Birmingham have hooked Carney now. I read she injured herself in the warm up but clearly played anyway. The last thing they need is for her to be sidelined.

Something tells me we won't be seeing it in the highlights. But the precedent has been set this season, no reason why she can't face the same fate as Bardsley did.

Depends if So Yun gets a retroactive ban. I reckon you would see BT or BBC discussing it then.

Seems like it's been an incredibly scrappy game from the Birmingham City tweets. I noticed in yesterday's game, Liverpool were quite scrappy with Sunderland too.

Debut goal for Kirby, 4-0.

Birmingham seemed to be doing better when they were playing against 11, not ten.

Depends how quick Man City are out of the starting blocks. Past couple of games I've seen from Arsenal, they were slow to get in the game and I think Man City will punish us for it.

Is this Nobbs' first appearance on the team sheet since the World Cup?

I'm looking forward to seeing Corboz again. I've been impressed by what I have seen so far.

City have made a really bright start here but they are going forward in numbers and are lucky Ubogagu was flagged offside or Arsenal were in.

1-0 City. Through Byrne's hands, bounces off Bronze, over the line says the linesman. Can't really say it's an undeserved lead but the replays weren't conclusive for me.

agreed. Not sure the ball was completely over the line but Man City have definitely been the better side so far.

Bronze's first goal for Man City too

Arsenal are lucky they aren't behind by more. If it wasn't for some very last ditch tackles and goalkeeping this game would be well over already. Bar two or three Ubogagu runs I'm struggling to remember them doing anything else of note. They can't seem to cope with City's passing or their pressing, it's all too quick for them.
